Over the last 10 years CASAPNG has grown to become a mature organization  and considered as a role model organization and the best public sector agencies in PNG. We have built trustworthy relationships locally, regionally and internationally and our credibility with the aviation industry stakeholders and the Government through stronger engagement and collaboration has been acknowledged.

Our commitment to adhere to the highest safety and security standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization  has been recognized, but there is still more work to be undertaken as we scan the aviation landscape locally and globally and the policy changes of the Government.

Movements in the Effective Implementation (EI) ratings of the ICAO Critical Elements (CE) in the safety abd security space are the direct result of States globally improving their implementation of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS). On this basis we required to re-set further key objectives and strategies to work towards exceeding the changing EI global average.
